Grossberg Company LLP, a mid-sized CPA firm in the Washington DC area, is a premier provider of accounting, tax and business consulting services.  We are an industry leader operating in a largely paperless environment. We provide a friendly work environment for our employees and we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland.  

As an Administrative Assistant you have responsibility for providing phone support to internal staff. Our ideal candidate will possess experience handling incoming phone calls in a fast-paced environment.  This is a full-time position which includes competitive compensation.  Hours: 8:30 – 5:30pm daily with a 1 hour break for lunch (unpaid).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Manage the incoming phone calls
·         Open and sort the mail
·         Greet staff and visitors
·         Manage the conference rooms (i.e. ensure that they are clean before and after use and properly stocked)
·         Ship and receive packages for the firm
·         Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience
·         Work experience in the accounting industry is a plus
·         2-4 years’ experience using Microsoft Office Products, including MS Excel
·         Must possess a positive and professional demeanor
·         Must be able to work the hours of 8:30 – 5:30pm daily
