A Grossberg Company LLP client based in Washington, D.C. has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator.  This client is a prominent D.C. law firm known for real property assessment services and litigation.  This is a significant role for a dynamic individual with a mid-sized firm.
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Supervise non-attorney staff, including Paralegals, Legal Secretaries and File Clerks
  • Act as Liaison to the Office Managing Partner and Attorneys regarding all operations that support client services and needs of the legal staff
  • Assist the firm's Office Managing Partner with implementing policies and procedures to adapt to the changing needs of the firm
  • Coordinate internal communications with the firm's Administrative Management Team to develop office initiatives and educate Attorneys, Staff, and others about recent developments and trends
  • Implement efficient office procedures and communications to streamline processes and satisfy the firm's needs
  • Coordinate meetings and communications with internal departments
  • Ensure that all staff are cross-trained in as many practical positions as possible; developing and implementing back-up plan for all staff positions
  • Serve as Liaison with the Office Building's management team
  • Plan and coordinate all office events (including monthly attorney meetings, firm parties, holiday parties, etc.)
 
Requirements:
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in Office Management
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Maintain and handle confidential responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
